This 1977 Volvo 264 GLE V6 is an original UK-supplied vehicle, registered new in the UK in 1977 and finished in a rare factory blue. It has covered just 45, 000 miles from new and has had three previous owners over its 48-year life — a very low number for a car of this age.
The vehicle was in long-term private ownership and stored off the road for a period of time, helping preserve the body, interior, and overall mechanical condition. During its time off the road, it was carefully kept and later underwent a professional respray in its original rare blue colour to bring the exterior back to a high standard.
The original blue velour interior remains intact, clean, and in excellent condition, showing signs of careful use with minimal wear. No major modifications have been made, and the car retains its correct engine, gearbox, and trim.
This 264 GLE represents a rare opportunity to purchase a factory V6 automatic saloon in a rare colour combination, with strong originality and low mileage from new. A standout survivor that’s ready to enjoy, lightly recommission, or add to a collection.
