1988 Volvo 240 GLT Wagon Automatic ** DEPOSIT TAKEN**
Up for sale is my 1988 Volvo 240 Wagon Automatic. These are getting rarer, especially in this great condition.
It is finished in Silver and the interior has been changed from leather to a really nice fabric seats as can be seen from the photos. Also inside the radio has been updated to a Bluetooth unit. The previous owner has carried out a lot of work on the exterior which is all documented for with a folder full of receipts. This includes lowering the vehicle and now I believe it sits perfectly and drives very well.
Mileage has just ticked over 187k miles, which for people who know the engine is nothing. I recently had a holiday up in the Peak District in the car and it did not miss a beat the whole time.
Bad Points - the rev counter only works intermittently. The rear wiper and wash does not currently work I believe due to the cable in the hinge but I haven't had chance to look at this properly. There are a few places on the exterior where the paint isn't great.
The MOT is due on the 14th July but I have it booked in for the 7th so should have a fresh MOT soon.
Reluctantly selling as I'm just not getting the use out of it and need to make room for a new project. Asking for just £3500 which I believe is a bargain for this beautiful car.
