Description

For sale is my Triumph Herald 12/ 50.
She is in fairly good condition, though the doors could do with realignment. The chassis has some untidy repairs, but is excepted for MoT standard. It has had quite a few up grades plus loads of new bits including a rebuilt engine , drive shafts , rear vertical links radiator recore, new drums (everything brand new from fitchetts) new calipers and discs on the front , Goodrich hoses , indicator stalk , both brake / clutch cylinders plus the slave , new clutch from a 13/ 60, twin SU’s and a free flow 4 branch manifold. She also has a new vinyl folding roof was fitted. Alternator conversion, new battery, coil and electric fuel pump. It also has a reconditioned engine with new pistons , bearings , a brand new Newman cam , all new followers. Bored out to +30 . Crank -10 thou . All new guides, springs and followers and a new oil pump. engine has only 66 miles on her now.
The runs well and has a little more pep to her with the addition of the twin carburetors.
I have fitted a 13/ 60 dash, all but the fuel gauge are operational. I do have the original speedo and fitting, though the 12/ 50 fibre is very bad.
The Herald has an MoT which is current until 27/ 08/ 2025..
