I have for sale my 1999 Kawasaki ZX9R. I bought this motorcycle as a non running project as she was taken off of the road by it's previous owner due to illness.
This Kawasaki has done just over 50500 miles, but don't let this put you off, as she was used to commute from Welshpool to London. Anything that required doing to keep her safely on the road and reliable was done, and she has lots of paperwork.
This bike has been subjected to a complete strip down and overhaul, everything has been cleaned, greased/ lubricated or replace as required. The fuel tank was cleaned out, as was the fuel tap & carbs. The rear suspension has been stripped, cleaned and re greased. The brakes have been stripped, cleaned, reassembled and bled using Rock Oil Dot 5. 1 brake fluid. Parts replaced are, new Powerline YTX9-BS battery, Motul 5000 10/ 40 semi synthetic oil, oil filter, EBC front brake discs, rear brake pads, Michelin Pilot tyres, genuine Kawasaki fuel pump & foam hand grips.
I have written a comprehensive log of all the work I have done to it to ensure it is fit for the road.
She is in standard trim, apart from heated grips and a Galfa rear brake disc.
I took her for an MOT and she passed with no advisories, the tester stating that the bike was extremely clean and in good condition for the mileage.
Included in the sale is a brand new genuine Kawasaki chain, front and rear sprocket set. This hasn’t been fitted as it is not required. The bike also comes with two keys, a Haynes manual and lots of paperwork.
This is a great machine for little money.
