Description
For sale is my 1973 Triumph TR6 in red with original black vinyl seats. I’ve owned the car since January 2022, during which time the car has covered approximately 1000miles.
During my ownership the car has benefitted from a recon overdrive gearbox, new steering rack with solid mount, new brakes, new front poly suspension bushes, new battery, as well as regular servicing and lots of other work which has been carried out professionally and is fully receipted.
Prior to my ownership the car was imported from Canada. I’ve traced some of its history there. The car appears to have been in long ownership for most its life, and was extensively waxoiled and undersealed through the chassis and cills.
This means the car is in decent and largely original condition. It has had a respray at some point which is ok but could be better on closer inspection.
As originally a LHD, the car was professionally converted to RHD (receipted).
There is small areas of deterioration around the headlights and a few small dents here and there. The car would benefit from new tyres as the existing ones are quite old. The hardtop headlining could do with replacement. Softop is present but hasn’t been on the car for a while.
I bought the car because it was a good honest example that drove and presented well at this price point. Please contact for information and potential viewings. This car would suit someone looking for originality over highly restored examples.
It’s competitively priced and is a great opportunity for someone looking to buy a good usable car requiring gradual improvement but without a massive initial outlay either in purchase price or a restoration.
