Recent oil service and supercharger service done December 2024, hasn’t even done 500 miles since. Recent coolant flush. Recent discs and pads all round. Good Falken tyres all round with lots of life left.
The car presents well and cleans up nicely with a recent machine polish and wax, but it is still 18 years old so isn’t perfect, you do notice marks etc once up close. Very clean underneath.
The main point to note, and why the car is priced substantially cheaper than it otherwise would be is that it has been reshelled. The car itself is for all intents and purposes a fully fledged FD2 Type R, it has just had everything transplanted professionally into a hybrid shell.
Fd2 K20A engine, running gear, brembo brakes etc transplant carried out by Performance Autoworks, done properly so there are no warning lights etc. Rotrex supercharger kit supplied by TTS performance, bottom mounted. Rolling road printout from TTS running 10psi at 412bhp with potential for unrestricted 497bhp.
The car is ready to jump into and enjoy/ drive and won’t need any maintenance for the foreseeable. It’s a more cost effective (and probably the only) way to get into a supercharged FD without spending £20k+. It also has an agreed valuation of £18k and has had a fair chunk of work since then so no doubt will be higher now.
Hopefully a chance for someone to own a supercharged FD for substantially less than the other examples.
The car has no known issues (to my knowledge), but please remember it is still 18 years old and as such is not a brand new car. I am not a dealer and as such no warranty or guarantee is given or implied. I’ll take you out in the car for test drive purposes.
