Description
UK Model Honda Prelude VTi BB6 - Rare manual 4WS with recent clutch.
Very low mileage for its age - backed by service history and MOTs - and this is reflected in the low owner count of only 3.
Includes full service history, a full spare set of wheels and a spare front license plate.
MOT valid until October 2025, last passed with no advisories.
Recently been fully serviced - consisting of:
- Oil change including filter
- New air filter
- New fuel filter
- Coolant change
- Transmission fluid change
- New power steering and alternator belts
- New timing belt and water pump
- New spark plugs
Also, during my ownership, the car has had fitted:
- New front droplinks on both sides
- A new clutch kit at 40936 miles, backed by invoices
Other work that has been completed in the past year includes:
- New rear brake discs and pads
- New front coil springs
- Refurbished alternator
- New battery
The car is completely stock apart from an aftermarket stereo that was fitted by the previous owners.
It comes with the valet key, red key, an aftermarket key that is used to open the boot, and a blank master key that will need cutting and an immobiliser chip fitting.
The paint on the metal panels of bodywork are in very good condition, with minimal scratches and stone chips. However, plastic parts such as the mirror caps and bumpers have slight laquer peel.
In addition to this, the OSR wheel arch is starting to rust, and there is some surface rust on the boot floor, B pillars and boot keyhole. There are also a few small dents in both doors.
There is also a large tear in the driver's seat, however all the other seats are in good condition with no tears or holes. Air conditioning does not work, but probably just needs regassing. Slight clunk from suspension, most noticeable when setting off in 1st. This is an increasingly rare example of a classic '90s Honda. Being a later generation of the first production car to feature four wheel steering, this particular model includes this system which works perfectly and definitely makes a difference, especially in slow speed turns.
Manual models are getting hard to find, especially those featuring the H22 VTEC engine, which works perfectly and kicks into VTEC with no issues.
In deep red with a full cream leather interior, I've often had people comment on this car while I've been driving it.
This car was owned by its original owner until his passing, where it was sat undriven from 2018 until 2024 when it was given to his neighbour, who fitted a new battery, refurbished the alternator and fixed it up to pass its first MOT in over 6 years. The car was later sold to me and I did the necessary work to get it to the point where it is now.
Still in use so mileage will increase
Offers are welcome
