This is “Jed”. Over the last 8 years of ownership he has proved himself to be a faithful companion. Now with 126000 miles he still runs well and is ready to drive away and enjoy.
Personal circumstances force reluctant sale.
Just had new brake pipes as part of a vehicle “health check” by excellent local garage. The garage reported the following would need attention at next service / MOT on 12th October:
Both engine rocker covers are rusted and need replacing
Both rear tyres are showing some cracking
Exhaust needs replacing
Brake pipes rusted (now replaced)
They also noted the following:
Wheel bearings have some minor play
Anti role bar bushes showing signs of wear
Structure is good but some body panels are rusted and will need repair or replacement (not MOT related)
Generally in good condition for age but could do with minor fixes inside and body work at some point in the future. Leisure battery needs replacing although the external power supply works.“Jed” is characterful, good fun to drive and very comfortable to camp in. I have enjoyed my 8 years of ownership. Just driven from York to Edinburgh and he is ready for more adventures this summer. A new exhaust would be worth doing soon and I am aware investment will be needed in October for his MOT. However, I can’t really afford to pay for this at the moment. I have also lost the covered space he was parked in.
A genuine vehicle presented totally honestly and priced very fairly. A new awning and bike rack is available separately.
