Kawasaki KH400, UK spec, not an import. I have owned this since 1995 and it’s in excellent condition. So far as I know the engine has never been tampered with & still starts & runs very well. In the last 30 years it’s had new sprockets and chain, fuel tap, flexible brake hoses and seals. The alternator has been checked by West Country windings & the low speed coils replaced. The silencers have never been repaired with no holes & the chrome is quite good.
The tyres have obviously been replaced & are hardly worn.
This bike is 48 years old & can easily go on for many more & continues to go up in value.
In my opinion the 400cc is the optimum size, not screaming away like the 250cc & not as dangerous as the 500 & 750.
I am retired so the bike is available for viewing most days. I have owned the bike for the last 30 years with no accidents, doing no more than 500 miles a year & often less.
