Description
1968 Morris Minor 1000 Traveller – MOT’d until July 2026 (with no advisories).
Reg: ORX 536F
My traveller is immaculately clean and completely factory standard. The only exception is that she is now negative earth to allow a CD/ radio and 12V sockets (for phone charging etc) to be fitted.
The exterior is maroon, the interior trim is red, and the carpet is also red.
Although she is exempt due to her age, I have taken her for an MOT, which she passed first time with no advisories.
Everything works as it should, she is a pleasure to drive and she attracts a lot of attention at classic car shows and everywhere we go.
In the past few months my traveller has had a new battery, new rear side window runners, the wood has been re-varnished, new red interior side panels & kick panels, new front wheel cylinders, dynamo brushes, new thermostat housing, chrome exhaust trim, new number plates, new steering wheel cover and new carpet underfelt.
The interior floor was repainted before the underfelt and carpet was refitted.
There is a Sony CD/ radio and two 12v sockets with USB adapter
The rear loading bay has been recovered in recent years.
All four brake drums are new.
The underside has been repaired (before my ownership), however, the correct panels, have been used, therefore, it is 100% solid and it's not a "patchwork quilt" of bodged repairs.
The four 145 x 14 Bridgestone radial tyres are excellent.
Please feel free to refer to the on-line MOT history and you will see that there is no mention of anything to worry about.
Any inspection welcomed
Please message or call with any queries or for more photos
There is no need to trailer this car away, she's safe, reliable and keeps up with the modern traffic.
Genuine reason for sale - lack of storage space
Thank you
