1937 Austin 7 RP Saloon. It is the deluxe model, which means it has a sunroof and chrome window surround. We have owned and loved the car since May 2013, the previous owner spent many years restoring the car completely (some receipts are still held). The green body with black wheel arches paintwork is in good condition. It retains its 6v electrical system and cable brakes. The interior is in reasonable condition but may do with a tidy up. The car was registered in June 1937 and comes with an almost complete life history (only 3 previous registered owners!). Having owned the car for 12 years, in recent years we have used it less & less. Good starter and much loved, the car comes with a few spares. The car appears to have belonged to the same Northamptonshire family from 1937 to the early 1960's. The car had its ownership transferred in 1994 before being brought by a Lancashire buyer in 1997 who spent many years restoring the car. Various receipts and details of the restoration are held. We brought the car in 2103.
