For sale is my 1961 Greeves Hawkstone Moto cross special.
Incredibly original unmolested example.
Apart from the concentric carb it appears to be totally original.
The bike Will also be supplied with the original pie crust rear hub assembly and the cow bell open megaphone.
It's in original barn find condition, has bags of compression, selects all gears, retains it's all important frame and engine numbers which accurately identify it as the original low production number MCS model.
Anyone knowing this model will easily recognise it's rare filter assembly, alloy top end, paddle hubs, alloy tank, correct top yoke, factory fitted stand etc etc.
Dead straight original non molested MCSs are becoming extremely rare and sort after, and will be forever linked with the great Dave Bickers European champion status.
Unfortunate change in personal circumstances force this reluctant sale.
Just to add, no attempt had been made to start the bike but after adding fresh fuel and a few prods the motor fired up and is now running and starts second kick everytime.
