Purchased new by Mrs Vera Breed on the 4th May 1988 through Page Motors (Leatherhead) Ltd, this delightful Mk2 Ford Fiesta 1. 1L has only had 5 previous keepers over the last 3бyears and 43, 300 miles.
2022 previous owner did the following, 5 new tyre's inc spare. New O/ S front caliper. New front discs and pads and rear shoes and cylinders, N. O. S Ford brake servo and master cylinder with reservoir, powder coated rocker cover and fan shroud, new thermostat and replaced coolant. new plus with original N. O. S leads, refurbished original alternator and starter motor, zinc coated brake bar, top mount covers, coil bracket, new battery, N. O. S wheel trims. 4 speaker surround sound system with original brackets, zine coated pipe clips in engine bay, new exhaust manifold gasket and painted manifold and heat shield in high temperature paint, 2 x original ford badges
• 27/ 3/ 2023 small patch of welding to inner and outer O/ S sill fixed headlight bracket service and MOT
• 23/ 9/ 2023 N/ S and O/ S Brake hose
• 20/ 05/ 2024 brake fluid change and coolant change service and MOT and this year had new anti-roll bar links with poly bushes and I have serviced it every year

It's easy to see that this car has been well preserved and remains highly original. The Burgundy Red paintwork has lovely deep shine, the bumpers, side moulding's, the lights and rear light clusters remain clear and damage free, she really could pass for a much newer
Stepping inside and the same can be said for the interior too. The original Helix material has maintained its colour fantastically well (no sun-bleaching) and the seats remain very comfortable with zero bolster wear and we just love the fact that everything inside the car is as it was from back when she was delivered in 1988; the factory radio / cassette, the working analogue clock, the original parcel shelf (no holes), door cards and dash all remain perfect, the interior really does show very little wear, just looking at the steering wheel and gear knob alone helps to support the wonderfully low mileage and solid clean boot floor
This lovely story continues with the car's mechanics too. The 1. 1 Kent engine starts instantly (one can't help but smile as the 'choke' knob illuminates when pulled for cold starts, though it rarely needs using) and she settles into a sweet idle. The car pulls away cleanly and despite her modest power, she cruises comfortably on A-class roads with supple suspension, good brakes and a pleasing exhaust note. And LEZ EXEMPT IN SCOTLAND
