Interceptor SP (Six pack) 1972.
A very rare opportunity to purchase one of the rarest of Jensen’s.
Only 232 left the factory, with only 3 built with this colour combination of Metallic California sage with beige interior and black vinyl roof.
I have owned this car for 15 years and during this time have spent too many hours to mention bringing it to the current standard.
Being a member of the Jensen owners club, I have been around these cars for over 20 years, this has brought me a wealth of knowledge, which has helped me to ensure the car is as near to original as possible with many parts refurbished rather than replaced with lesser quality.
Details that can only be found on a genuine car owned by a fanatic include:
Original correct stainless screen washer nozzle caps (these are normally missing and are no longer available)
Original date stamped quality control inspection tags fitted to oil hoses, which were removed and replaced back onto the replacement hoses.
Correct finishing of end seal to tailgate “P” rubber strip as per factory finish, (usually cut square, as difficult to replicate)
Original fans (no problems with this car overheating!)
Original and working 8 track player
Original working electric ariel
Original vinyl roof
Original bag containing, jack, wheel brace, spark plug spanner.
Original tool bag containing, original tools.
Original Lucas under bumper front driving lamps (fitted by the factory as a rare option)
Original factory fitted Bradex fire extinguisher

The car can only be described as in outstanding condition and has won many awards & prizes during my ownership.

The car is available for viewing by the owner in the Cheshire area of UK. The car is supplied with two large history folders full of bills, receipts, old tax discs, and historic documents that evidences the original mileage of 72, 500
There is an invoice included for a full engine rebuild from a well-known racing engine specialist Huddart engines.
Includes its original Jensen service book with its first services entries at the supplying dealer and subsequent services shown up to 62, 302 miles, which is a lovely piece of its history and so very rare to have remained with the car.
