This car belonged to my neighbour who passed away at the end of last year. He purchase it from new and kept it in the garage all of its life. I had other Bmw's in the past but never a manual convertible. So I wanted to tick that box. And of course I wanted to do some upgrades to make it look a bit more modern.
I have purchased and fully restored set of style 32 , 18 inch staggered but I also kept the original 17inch alloys which I also had fully refurbished. I have purchased a new set of headlights with angel eyes but again , I kept the old set which are in perfect condition due to this car being kept indoors all of its life.
So if you do decide to purchase this car, in the price you will also get 2 set of fully refurbished alloys and 2 sets of headlights. The tyres on the 18inch alloys are brand new and the tyres on the 17inch have approx 75% thread left on them.
I keep the car locked in the garage and used only at the weekends when the sun is out.
After I purchased the car I took it to BMR Performace, near Gatwick, to check a few things and do a full service on it.
In addition I have done preventative work on the car with BMR Performace worth over 4000£ since April 2025 which include all the rubber gaskets and hoses, spark plugs, radiator , water pump, fuel pump, filters, belts, pulleys and tensioner , brake hoses , wishbones, shock absorbers and many many other parts. The list is way to long to write it hear. All the work comes with warranty and the parts used are strictly OEM .
Brand new pagid discs and pads all around.
I have all the invoices and paperwork for this car from day one including the initial invoice from the main dealer. Two keys .
The only thing I have not done on the car is the cosmetic bits, some scratches on the front bumper and bonnet and the driver's seat has a bit of tear on it. I have approached some companies who repair these seats and they said it would cost approx 250£ to rectify the worn part. But as I intend to sell it, I do not want to waste time on it. This is for the next owner to sort out if it bothers him or she.
Also some small dings in the drivers door as the original owner was a golf player so he hit the door a few times when he was reaching for his sunglasses ( when the top was down of course).
But again, this has not bothered me.
Other than that, everything works as it should, it is mechanically sounds, no rust, 5 speed manual convertible 330ci .
I will not entertain stupid calls or offers.
The car is parked in a secure car park, dry with a cover on top, Richmond, London.
This is a private sale, no hidden issue and no expenses spared on this car. One owner from new, with original sale invoice, full service history, dry stored, low mileage, thousands spent on it in the last months, mostly on preventative work.
