For Sale is my Astra Mk3 Convertible as I have recently purchased a Mk2 Cavalier.
1998 (S-reg) 1. 6i. Approx 106k miles.
Service History
MOT till 7th August 2026
New rear brake shoes, hubs and brake cylinders
Fully serviced last August
Cam belt and water pump replaced last August
New clutch fitted last August
Stainless Steal middle and back box fitted last September (Lifetime Warranty)
Lanoguard under sealed back in September
Autoglym Hood protection applied back in September
Electric hood
Electric windows
Central locking
Heated leather sports seats
Standard radio/ cassette fitted but have the option of the 6 disc multi changer (already fitted by a previous owner) in the boot and
the matching head unit.
Front fog lights
Garaged most of it's life. The last owner owned the car for over 15 years and was a mechanic by trade. The previous owner before him lived just round the corner from him whom purchased the car at 3 years old.
The hood is in very good condition and the electric mechanism works as it should.
The Astra has never let us down and been very reliable. Occasionally the car has not been used over a 2 or 3 week period in the winter and the car has always started first time without any problems.
£1, 495When I purchased my Astra last summer I was looking to purchase a Vauxhall Cavalier but while looking I came across this lovely Astra convertible and was taken by it's lovely condition and history. The previous owner had owned it for around 15 years. He was a retired mechanic and kept in his garage every night.
The only reason for sale is that I have purchased a Mk2 Vauxhall Cavalier.
