My cherished landrover is an excellent example in lovely condition. I have always kept it garaged, having used it sparingly to tow a light trailer of bee keeping equipment and a tow bar bike rack, bespoke made for landrover and included in the sale. I’ve covered 10, 000 miles in my 8 years of ownership. No rust or rot in either body or chassis and never drops a drip of oil from anywhere. My local 4 x 4 centre checked it over this morning and stated it as one of the best they had seen. All original apart from a digital blue tooth radio I had fitted and wired up for hands free phone use. New tyres fitted when I bought the car, many miles left in those. I also had new shocks and springs fitted along with having the brakes totally refurbished and the underside waxoyl’d. New battery fitted 2 years ago. The car pulls like a train, ticks over beautifully, always starts on the button and has never coughed, spluttered or let me down. Everything works as it should. No defects or work that needs doing at all to my knowledge. It took me a long time to find this Landy and I’m only selling due to lack of use and freeing up the garage to buy another classic to fettle now I’m retired, and only really bought it in the first place to scratch an itch of always wanting one. I have every MOT from 2007 along with records of any work done from new which is mainly regular fluid changes. I believe this is as good an example of a defender of this age and price bracket as you will find anywhere, genuine, pampered and totally reliable. Any checks welcome.
