This 2002 Porsche Boxster S (986) 3. 2-litre 6-speed manual has covered just 71, 015 miles and has had 8 previous owners. While the original service log book is unfortunately missing, the car comes with invoices for six major services, including a recent full major service carried out in April 2025.
It has a valid MOT until 26th November 2025. Advisories noted at the last test — including brake pipes, tyres, and seals — have since been addressed and replaced, ensuring the car is in great mechanical condition.
I purchased the Boxster in April 2025 from a private seller for a European group driving trip. Ahead of the journey, I invested approximately £2, 000 in servicing and repairs resulting in a well-sorted, dependable example that’s ready to be enjoyed without any immediate expense.
The car presents and drives very well, benefiting from recent attention to both mechanical and cosmetic details — including a ceramic coating applied to the bodywork for added protection and shine.
Mechanically, the car is strong and enjoyable to drive, though there are a few minor points to note. The air conditioning system could do with some investigation and the suspension arm bushes may benefit from replacement in the future. There are also a couple of small dents in the bodywork, though as you can see from the photos, nothing that detracts from its overall appearance or performance. All paperwork available for services and works carried out since purchase. Also includes 2 sets of keys. I bought this Boxster S for a European group driving trip earlier this year — hence the decals, which were applied for the occasion. Of the original group, only two cars remain, making this one quite unique. It was faultless throughout the trip, impressing with its reliability, handling, and sheer driving enjoyment. Whether the roof is up or down, it’s a genuinely rewarding car to drive.
While not without a few age-related niggles, it has been an absolute joy to own and always draws attention wherever it goes — helped by the distinctive decals that give it a bit of character.
It’s a reluctant sale, but I simply no longer have the space to keep it. The decals can be removed upon purchase if preferred, but I’ve left them on as they give the car a unique personality and always spark conversation.
