Welcome to the sale of this outstanding 1959 Rover 100 P4 in very original condition, a 6 cylinder 2. 6 petrol engine with overhead inlet side exhaust, 4 speed manual gearbox with overdrive and recorded mileage of 63900.
A genuine solid vehicle with no rust or rot issues, had rust prevention treatment many years ago and the underneath is sound. The engine is mechanically in great order and starts on the button runs and stops well, just had an Oil change and has 4 like new Radial tyres, the last model to incorporate suicide doors, production ended in 1962 with approx 16500 manufactured.
The coachwork is in excellent order and has not been touched for many years, the paintwork has a great original patina, but does have some minimal micro blistering to some areas, which is age related and does not distract from the overall impressive appearance, the dazzling bumpers and the chrome work is absolutely gorgeous.
The luxurious interior is in superb condition throughout, Upholstered in beautiful Red Leather with a striking wood dashboard, trims and fittings, Roof lining is very good and still has the original tinted sun-visors, the wool carpets are all edged bound and in great condition. With an original His Masters Voice 1950s radio in good working order and even has a full slide out toolkit under the dashboard.
A stunning vehicle that gives a luxury ride and would be great for Vintage Events, Weddings, Car Shows, etc, and ideal for towing an age related Retro caravan, as has fitted tow bar with electrics, and as an historic vehicle is road tax exempt.
