Recent new batteryThis much loved facelift 730i stands out as a great unmodified example of the rarer E32 generation 7 Series. The V8 engine delivers effortless power and a brilliant noise, complemented by the recent transmission rebuild at a cost of £2400. Starts first time every time, well kept interior with sunroof, retaining the original Milcars Watford main dealer stickers and plates, full original toolkit and garaged for the majority of its life. Near-new StormGuard car cover included, basically never used due to being stored in a garage. Also included is an original sales brochure alongside the original manual and service booklet.
Of course this is a 33 year old car and as such it's not perfect but still very presentable. No body panel knocks of note and just the usual car park scuffs and other small imperfections commensurate with a car this age.
Trying to cover everything, there are the first signs of lacquer failure on the bonnet, and at some point in its life has had a resprayed front passenger door, but it doesn't detract from the overall brilliant Brokarot shine. Like 99% of the vehicles of this age, the headliner is dropping slightly from the sunroof backwards, which could be easily pinned but I've left it as is because it causes no bother. Overall, it has been obviously incredibly very well cared for over the decades.
It runs incredibly well and has recently driven 400 mile trips with no issues whatsoever, and as previously said it reliably starts on the first turn of the key. I'm only selling it as I don't have enough time to enjoy this type of car as it deserves,
Overall, a proper autobahn cruiser but surprisingly good fun in corners. At the time it was, and arguably remains today, the definitive luxury driver's car. A real headturner and ready for another 140, 000 miles.
