1976 GTE 6 in blue with white coach line. Manual 4 speed box with Overdrive. MOT and VED exempt. Black leather interior with four headrests. Sunroof. JVC stereo radio and cassette player . Electric windows. Recently recommissioned with new battery, starter motor and plugs. Starts on the key. Slotted stainless steel wheels. Stainless exhausts and petrol tank. New tyres. Sound chassis though not galvanised. Good carpets and headliner.
Basically this is a reasonable car but is looking its age and needs some refurbishment to take it to the next level. I bought the car in order to scratch and itch having had GTEs back in the 90s. Four speed manual with O/ D is the way to go and the black leather interior nicely sets off the blue outside. The front seats are worn but the carpets and headliner are good. All the electrics work - except the clock. There is a fuel cut-off under the dash and an additional on/ off for the radiator fan.
I've had it two years and the itch is satisfied plus recent surgery makes getting in and out more difficult so time to move on.
