I purchased this car last August 2024 in view to get it back on the road, my father passed away November 2024 and since then I've not worked properly and been quite depressed, I don't have the heart to get this project going now
Please also note that the car has been standing since 2012, it has not been started, the is still golden colour but will definitely need a service
The Mercedes will need to be taken away on a trailer or recovery vehicle
It has an aftermarket immobiliser that is faulty, will not crank the engine but the engine does turn freely by hand
The bonnet needs a respray and the bottom of the 2 front wings are rusty
Upon looking at the car, it doesn't look shocking at all, has had 4 new tyres back in 2012 and new complete exhaust at around the same time
V5 is in my name, this car will be very valuable once it's on the road because it now qualifies for No MOT or ROAD Tax and will be ULEZ exempt but the V5 needs to be sent back to Dvla once it's on the road with a new mot, then the V5 will come back with all the exemptions
It's a shame because it did take me some time to find a w123 coupe
There are a few new bits in the boot, couple of coil springs and a few door/ window rubbersWhen this car is on the road, you will be asked if you wish to sell it, these cars are fetching in excess of 7k to 12k and even higher with low mileage
