Description
A rare opportunity to acquire a car that stands out from everything else on the road: an Excalibur Roadster SS Series 3.
The model is unfamiliar to most, so here is a short background text for the curious:
The Excalibur Roadster SS Series 3 is an American neoclassical car produced in Milwaukee, USA. The designer, Brooks Stevens, was inspired by the 1920s Mercedes-Benz SSK and wanted to combine that style with modern 1970s technology.
Under the long hood lies a Chevrolet 454 V8 big-block engine (7. 4 liters) paired with a 3-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. It originally produced 215 HP, but this example has been upgraded to a full 350 HP.
It is built on a robust chassis with power steering and disc brakes, making it (relatively) easy to drive.
Excalibur models from this period are rare on the market today and are regarded as collector’s cars.
This particular one was imported to Denmark 20 years ago by the current owner. After its arrival, the engine was rebuilt and has not covered many kilometers since.
It presents itself in absolute show-ready condition, ready to turn heads wherever it goes.
The 36, 000 miles on the odometer are believed to be accurate.
Included are a hardtop and a cockpit cover for when the rain falls.
It has just passed inspection.
Previous license plate: BM18459

I am helping a good acquaintance sell parts of his fine collection and act as the primary contact person for the sale, with the rightful owner alongside. He will of course be present at viewings and final negotiations.
