The body paint presents a uniform tone but slightly dull. After a professional polish performed by our workshop with a orbital machine, we noted a few tiny paint chips corrected on the bonnet and the right rear wing. This example is complete and has retained all its original accessories and attributes: chromed front and rear bumpers, horns, spare wheels and wheel covers, chromed luggage rack, original boot. The chromed mirrors are in perfect condition. The bumpers, highly exposed, are free from deformations but show a few micro-scratches. This specimen is fitted with long-range Lucas headlights. The openings are in good condition. This example is equipped with the optional “side screens” in mohair and plexiglass as well as a mohair hood cover in “Black”. The mohair hood in “Black” is in perfect condition, with no snags or discoloration. Its installation is improvable and its seal remains correct. The rear window mica displays good transparency with no cracks or yellowing. The mohair side screens and plexiglass are in perfect condition. This example has a rare and sought-after option: the hard top. It is in very good condition; we note the absence of the rear window. The four original chrome wire wheels “Excalibur 97 spokes” show signs of oxidation. They are shod with four tyres with front and rear wear at 40%. Among the notable exterior/ body options and equipment: mohair hood cover, hard top, chromed horns, four “Excalibur 97 spokes” chrome wheels and two spare wheels with their wheel covers. Interior: The interior has been preserved in its original configuration. Overall in good condition with no snags or creases. The full leather upholstery in “Tan” is in excellent condition. We noted a small scratch on the driver’s seat backrest and a small stain on the rear cushion. The leather-trimmed door panels are in the same condition as the upholstery. The dashboard and the leather-covered dashboard cap in “Tan” are also perfect. The VDO dashboard instrumentation, the AUTO METER tachometer and the PIONEER radio are fully functional. Only the vintage air conditioning is no longer functional. The original EXCALIBUR three-spoke leather steering wheel in “Black” shows a patina of use. The leather gear knob in SS style is in perfect condition. The carpets in “Black” are in very good condition. To aid manoeuvrability this specimen is equipped with a desirable option: power steering.
