Selling my old faithful Rover 800 Saloon. Formerly known as "Thunderbird 2" on the old Rover 800 forum. I have owned it for 7 years and have carried out a rolling restoration in my ownership including welding on sills, wheel arches, and a respray. Belts replaced, new alternator and water pump over the years and it only let me down when the immobiliser stopped talking to the central locking and it wouldn't start. That's when I bought a Rover 45 to replace it. The fob and immobiliser have now been reprogrammed and it is back running but surplus to requirements now. My 45 has Air Con so I'm moving TB2 on. Good tyres and MOT'd to August 26. Ideal starter classic. Ideal starter classic. Reliable and roomy. A bit dusty in the photos due to hosepipe ban!
124 000 miles and 8 previous owners. New rear discs and pads. 12 months MOT. Good tyres. Yes the headlining sags and yes the dash has lifted behind the wheel.
