Bought this bike as a non runner which had been stood in a garage for a good while and just have not had the time to do anything with her. Too busy on other projects!!
Started to do the following
Drained, flushed and Replaced coolant
Drained, flushed and Replaced the oil and the oil filter
Replaced the 3 x plugs
Removed the two brembo front brakes and had them soaked in WD40 to free them off.
I bought a replacement battery and fitted. Engine turns over nicely but no fuel pressure. Probably the fuel pump? I was hoping it would be a quick fix but are they ever!!
I just haven’t got the time. Honestly!!
She’s a superb little bike. Paintworks good
Two colour matched panniers also included in the sale. Pannier frames are fitted.
Back drum brake works perfectly.
Easy project for someone who appreciates nice BMW triples. Grab a bargain.
