BMW R75/ 6 750cc
I have know this bike since 1978 it was my mates dads bike, he was the second owner (the bike has a near full history including the original purchase receipt). The bike has been in the same family from 1974-2025 but passed between family members.
Its in regular use, runs and handles well, no known significant faults (they are fixed if any occur).
The only issues are, neutral light doesn't work and the main stand lever is missing (but its still quite easy to get on mainstand).
Gearbox clutch all working well all lighting system works, starts on the button, brakes properly adjusted and working well.
Full history file, all original manuals, original seat with chrome grab rail supplied (needs recovering), electronic ignition system new in box, and various other new spares, bike is currently running very well on points.
The bike sits on new Avon road rider tyres.
The bike is fitted with period home made (but well made) panier mounts and rack, paniers are supplied, its a simple job to remove and put to standard if you don't want them on.
Its a compact bike by modern standards and as such is easy to manage with a low seat height compared with current bikes.
This bike could set off and go round Scotland or off to Europe, its a tough reliable bike.
Either use it as is with its original patina, or would make a fantastic basis for a restoration.
