Description
Looking for an enthusiast to take this on. It’s an ultra rare 5 cylinder Fiat Marea Weekend HLX. I owned this car before passing it in to my best friends dad who has done very few miles over the years. It comes with a good service history. The cambelt was done about 6 or 7 years ago or 10, 000 miles so is technically due.
Recently it suddenly lost all coolant, it was taken to the nearest garage who said it was the water pump. They ‘replaced’ it at great cost and a few weeks later it happened again and when they were phoned up a different mechanic let slip they had just replaced the coolant pipe. (I had a coolant pipe split on a previous Marea with the same symptoms). I suspect the pipe they fitted wasn’t secured properly. The engine runs although the battery is now flat. The car hasn’t been abused in its life and I also bought it off an enthusiast and now it needs someone to do some basic recommissioning. Feel free to ask any questions. This is as rare as it gets and would be a great car for someone to take to car shows once done. I suspect this is your only opportunity to have one of these cars
