Description
Super rare, and rust-free, Alfa 164 Cloverleaf with the 24V V6 "Busso" engine. Specified from new with the Recaro sports seats, which every 164 owner wants to get their hands on, and the 16" pepper-pot split-rim alloys.
This is a running project that my Son and I bought a couple of years ago, but a recently acquired 105 series means we don't have the space, nor the time, to finish it. We drove it briefly before we started work on it, and everything worked as it should, even the active dampers.
We performed a compression test and obtained approximately 150 psi on each cylinder. We've recently removed, welded and repainted the front subframe and replaced all the suspension arms and bushes. The parts that we purchased and are included in the sale are:
- Anti-roll bar links
- Anti-roll bar bushes
- Front suspension arms (fitted)
- Front brake pads
- Track rod ends (fitted)
- Oil filter
- Timing belt
- Cabin filter (fitted)
- Air filter (fitted)
- Fuel filter
What does the car need? In addition to fitting the above, it needs a repaint, an MOT and the dial binnacle needs recovering. The tyres are good, they'll get you through an MOT, but they should be replaced. A spare bonnet/ hood is included.
Feel free to ask any questions; we have loads more photos and videos of the engine running.
The car will need to be collected on a trailer from Wallingford in South Oxfordshire.
Thanks for looking. The Recaro sports interior separates it from most Cloverleafs available. The car is complete and could be back on the road within weeks.
