Description
I’m the only UK owner of this Fulvia. I drove it back from Lavello, Southern Italy, in the summer of 2019 without a hitch. The Italian log book (Autovettura), which I still have, shows it had three Italian owners before me. The first was a lady born in 1913 — she was 57 when she picked up her brand-new Fulvia saloon in Turin.
The second owner from Foggia bought it in 2000, and the third in 2005 — from whom I purchased it. He told me the car had always been garaged and never repainted. He should know, as he worked in quality inspection at the Fiat factory near Lavello, checking new cars as they came off the production line.
I’ve looked after it well over the past six years. I’m only selling because I’ve got three cars in a wide double garage, and I’d get more use out of the other two if I sold one. You get me?
It won a top 10 show car award at the Lancia Motor Club annual weekend in 2021, even through I didn't enter it in any competition. One of the judges just came up to me and told me it was too good not to win an award.
If you’re interested, give me a call to arrange a viewing. You can also see the car running in my latest video on my YouTube channel, Woody’s Secret Garage.
