After having this blue beast for around 4 years now I have decided to move it on to the next custodian.
A superb 2000 Powers 4. 3 Cerb with over £30k worth of bills in the last 7 years to show. A lot of work has been put in to make sure this is in excellent mechanical condition. It has just had a 12k service and some remedial work done on the heater control box, along with MOT until July 2026 with no advisories.
In 2020 at 51, 500 miles the following work was completed:
Powers 4. 3 engine rebuild with replacement engine block direct from Powers
Map from Joolz - she is a spritely one!
Full body off chassis restoration including zinc priming and powder coating, this includes wishbones and rollbars
All new ancillaries to go with the chassis, ball joints, track rod ends down to bushes and set bolts
New silicone hoses, stainless pipes, coolant reservoir and the upgraded water pump from Powers with the rebuild
Gaz gold coilovers and suspension components
Bracket for the differential
Engine and gearbox mounts replaced
New A/ C condenser, dryer and trinary switch with recharge
New stainless steel dash and heater/ A/ C panel
New clutch lines
Clutch reconditioned
New oil hoses and oil cooler
Stainless quick release bonnet hinges and stay
New black carpets with Portland grey trim
During my ownership, the maintenance and improvements include (but not limited to):
New uprated starter motor from Powers
Gearbox rebuild from Readman Racing with 5th gear upgrade
New aluminium radiator
Replacement MBE ECU
New fuel sender
New oil temp and water pressure gauge
Steering rack refurbished
New fuel lines
New discs and pads from Powers
Full service history from engine rebuild onwards
New red top battery July of this year
New cable ribbons for headlights
New throttle cable
New Lambda sensor
Diff pinion seal replaced and checked
Clutch slave seal kits
Please note, the car is on its original paintwork and as such has some lacquer peel in places and the usual stone chips. The interior is in good condition bar the wear on the driver's side bolster which is common. Tyres are in good condition, the rears could do with replacing in the next 12 months.
The private number plate will be included in the sale (approximately £1, 100 value). An absolute riot to drive!
