This 1965 VW Beetle 1200 Deluxe is finished in striking Yukon Yellow with a cream interior. Right Hand Drive.

The car sits on an adjustable 4 inch narrowed front beam and is lowered all round approximately 3 inches from stock but sill on original front spindles and rear spring plates.
Overall the car presents very well inside and out and being yellow really stands out and attracts many waves and smiles per mile.
1200cc engine and running on original 6 volt electrics.
Original Vinyl interior with newer carpets.
Original (and unobtainable) front and rear grey rubber floor mats with added new sound deadening beneath.
Original steering wheel and 2 year only horn button.
Original headlining.
I have undertaken quite a bit of work during my ownership including the following:
All wheels have been refinished and powder coated in the correct Lotus White. Good Michelin tyres all round, ZX 135 SR15 front and XWX 185/ 70 15 rear.
4 new shock absorbers
Rebuilt 6v dynamo.
New brightwork including running board trim, side/ bonnet trim and side mirror.
New sun visors (originals will be supplied with car).
New coloured matched inertia reel seat belts.
Many new rubber trims including doors and lighting trims.
New headlight reflectors.
Recent engine oil and gearbox oil change, valves adjusted and new V belt.
New fuel hoses.
SSP outdoor car cover included.
The car has a large history file with many invoices, MOTs, Tax Discs etc. It took me over a year to find a nice 1965 Beetle. I have been driving it every week since and covered around 5000 miles during the nearly 3 years I have owned and enjoyed the car. I have attended many shows with the car including the prestigious Hampton Court Concours in the 30 under 30 category. However, it is time for the car to find a new home as I focus on other VW projects.
