Description
2006 Dodge Ram SRT10 8. 3L V10. A real muscle truck and formerly the fastest truck in world with just over 500bhp from the Viper V10 supercar. They only made the Ram SRT10 for 3 years, a very rare truck worldwide and particularly rare in this facelift version which was only made for the last year of production. The colour really pops, the best colour available in my opinion (not seen another in this colour), has a nice effect to it and looks different depending on the light as you can see in the pics and the wheels (recently refurbished) look great in black. Been in the UK since new, has great service history (not some recent import with missing/ unknown history). Low mileage at 53k. Clean MOT and service with new belt and tensioner. Lovely condition inside and out, a previous owned liked Transformers which is why it has the badges on the seats and carpets but suits it nicely (changeable if not your taste). It has the Infinity sound system which the sub under the rear seat, it benefits from having an upgraded Sony touch screen headunit which has bluetooth. It has rear parking sensors which is very useful (it's got the ability for rear and front camera too) and rear entertainment. Being an import, the tax is cheap for a 500bhp muscle truck (£300). I've had the V10 in a Viper before and it's a great engine (not overly stressed, quite simple and actually reasonable consumption for its power and size - have had worse). It has a stainless steel exhaust and k&n induction, both of which add some nice noise, but not too obnoxious. I've come close a few times in the past to buying one and finally i got one, it's a great all-rounder as it can carry all the family (3 kids) and so much space in the rear for things like bikes etc. Sit up nice and high, the kids love it to be able to see everything. It's a nice weekend truck to take to shows or a perfectly capable daily, I've used it both ways. These are getting rarer by the day and i've seen prices climb over the years which will only continue. It gets good attention everywhere it goes and always wins top trumps for the biggest engine anyone has come across. It's pretty much stock which is what you want from an appreciation point of view as modified examples can be niche. Quite possibly the cheapest example for sale in the UK (especially considering low mileage and the rarer facelift model), so a good opportunity to get one before prices go even higher. They are rare worldwide and are reaching the point where they'll get exported back to America or into Europe. What else can give you this performance, with the ability to carry 5 passengers and big loads, whilst appreciating in value at a currently reasonable price point. There's no replacement for displacement, they'll never make anything like this again. Can't do swaps or part exchange. It can be registered as a commercial vehicle for VAT purposes if required. Located in East Sussex. Walk around video available. Priced competitively at £25, 990 or sensible offer.
