Triumph Spitfire Mk3 1968, two seater sports car, 1296cc, 37, 000 miles with only five previous keepers on the V5, selling as a PROJECT, comes with a whole history of paperwork including mot certificates dating back to 1990, I can’t verify if the mileage is genuine as I have no history prior to 1990 but it wouldn’t surprise me if it is, paperwork includes the original buff log book,
Knock on wire wheels inc spare, hood cover, tonneau covers,
Engine starts on the button and runs beautifully, gearbox all good and works as it should, car moves along just fine under its own steam ( if you were to check the brakes over you could almost drive it away !! .... but they will definitely need a good check/ service prior to road use
interior all good for its age along with nice dashboard etc, owners manual and workshop manual,
The windscreen frame is a new replacement as the original had corrosion along the bottom edge, the frame has only been loosely fitted and requires windscreen to be re-fitted (new rubbers and fitting kit supplied with the car)
Body work is all relatively sound bearing in mind how old it is, the car has spent many years of its life in dry storage,
All in all a very bright little sports car that would require a relatively small amount of work to use once more, remember it’s both MOT and TAX exempt but it is a project but I think you would struggle to find a more sound project base,
