Jaguar XJ 4. 2
Drive’s beautifully, very powerful car with the big 4. 2 engine, smooth gearbox and light aluminium body.
Mechanically the car is fantastic. With age it has some cosmetic bits which could do with some TLC to make it mint.
This vehicle has had thousands spent on it, I will take pictures to show you the work that has gone into it underneath.
I’m not mechanically minded so I can’t tell you what these parts are called.
When I purchased the car I took it to a mechanic to look over, he mentioned whoever the car belonged too previously, has spent a lot of money on the vehicle and the upkeep of it. There’s a lot of brand new parts underneath the car.
It has 54000 miles, it’s just been serviced less than 400 miles ago.
The bad bits.
Front left wing paint faded.
Air con doesn’t blow cold.

I have enjoyed the car for the last year, I wanted an old Jag, it’s literally been champagne for lemonade money. The bits such as the wing an air con I haven’t bothered with. If it’s something someone wishes to do then great. Or simply get in it and drive it.
The family I purchased it from said their father loved the vehicle, but is too old and unwell to drive.
There’s not many people, or cars that the previous owner would spend so much on a vehicle for the next owner, knowing they would not get to drive the car again.
I’m giving someone else the chance to enjoy such a beautiful car.
