For several years I looked for a Ford Escort with no rust, I looked at many and was sadly disappointed. I located this car in Portugal in 2018. I drove over to Portugal to view the car and immediately bought it as there was no rust whatsoever on this car. I brought the car back to the United Kingdom whereby I gave the car to a very well known rally car builder Allan Clark based in Scotland, he then stripped the car down completely and then began a full rebuild. As you can see the car is in excellent condition.
The car has had a full bare metal respray, new glass, new rubber seals, all new suspension, front fully adjustable, new brakes, everything underneath brand new. The car has had approximately 30K pounds sterling build cost and is ready to go. Only due to ill health this car is for sale. This car is ready for the Monte-Carlo Historique rally which I had full intentions to enter, I have done this rally many times and the escort is the perfect vehicle for this or any other rally or for your own pleasure and enjoyment.
