An honest example of this fantastic MG model of which less that 2000 were built. This is one which was exported to Japan where it covered about 26000 miles then returned to the UK in 2002 and which has been owned by several MG owners club members since. The last owned it from 2018 and it has been garaged.
There is an extensive listing recording the different owners and much of what has been done to the car. This has included a very recent new steering rack, a replacement fuel tank, pump and hoses. there is evidence of a replacement clutch a few thousand miles ago and invoices relating to a replacement windscreen. The previous owner said he never used the air conditioning system so that will require attention. The handsome wheels a e been refurbished and the tyres have plenty of tread remaining. I have long hankered after one of these fabulous cars as I love the galvanised bodywork, the luxurious Connolly leather interior, elm wood dash and door cappings and of course the well proven V8 engine with its five speed gearbox.
