The best daily driver classic car I've ever owned and only for sale as I've bought a car I've been after for a while. Used by me daily since March 2023 covering over 21000 miles and never letting me down. Recently I jumped in and did a 500 mile/ 10 hour round trip from Poole to Norwich, there and back in the same day! The mileage (miles not km!) will go up as used daily.
Anything mechanical has been attended to through planned maintenance or sorted as required. The car was rebuilt in 2019 including the suspension units, and in my ownership, the steering rack has been reconditioned, the braking and clutch systems have been either reconditioned or replaced with new including the servo, master cylinders and the whole clutch assembly.
The new owner can add value by spending time improving the cosmetics. The original seats will be supplied, but need retrimming. Any bits of trim missing in the photos will be supplied.
The car can be viewed in Parkstone, although can be seen around the Poole area and beyond as it's driven about a lot. The car is £3250 or near offer.
There is a large stock of usable spares available (over £1500 worth), new and secondhand, that can be purchased with the car through separate negotiation to ensure it's long term usage, £4250 or near offer will bug the car and all the spares. Bought as a load hugger and it hasn't disappointed. Puts a smile on my face and on that of many others all the time, everyone knows someone who had one, learnt to drive in one or has some sort of fond memory of a Maxi. A great, go-to, everyday classic that does everything that is asked of it.
