For sale is my Discovery 3 HSE V8 with the rare factory fitted rear diff lock and being an early model it falls into the cheaper tax bracket at nearly half the price of the older discovery 3.
Service history in the book up to 189, 000 miles, now on 196, 000 only just having had another oil change.

Delphi air bags all round and Hitachi compressor so no cheap aftermarket rubbish.
The chassis is brilliant and really tidy but the outer sills were not good. These were picked up on the first mot I put it through along with some damaged dust covers on the track rod ends. A few weeks of work and the sills were all cut out and replaced along with new side steps as these had also perished. It then passed its MOT with no advisories.
The Land Rover is now properly sorted and requires nothing doing. The engine runs perfectly and is basically silent when driving. The suspension is fault free and everything works as it should.
Open to sensible offersHaving owned several diesel versions of the discovery 3 I can honestly say the V8 is in a different class. With 300bhp and a silky smooth engine it feels like you’re driving a completely different car.
