Reluctant sale of my 2004 Triumph Thruxton - 2004, carb model.
3 former keepers but one was Russell James Motorcycles who supplied it to me.
12 months MOT
Only 8916 miles - I bought the bike in July 2023 and only covered circa 50 miles!!
I bought the bike in totally original condition ( have photos) and then tastefully modified to this unique looking bike.
Amazing paint job by Andrew Parnaby (£650). Bespoke cafe racer hump seat which will only get better with age plus a black alternative Triumph seat.
Great condition for year - some "spidering" to engine cases ( usual on these) , I was going to powder coat but new owner may want to polish. A small amount of flaking to engine, minimal and really doesn't detract from anything.
I purchased a RAMAIR air box removal kit (£175) still in packaging - easy install and makes the bike look and sound as it should - top quality.
In my opinion, best version of the Thruxton - proper clip ons and carburetors.
I will change the oil and filter.
Genuine reason for sale - simply doesn't get used but always garaged on front and rear paddock stands and hooked up to Optimate.
