1948 Morris 8 series e 2 door saloon. Lovely old car in dark green and black. Mechanically and bodily good condition. Chrome excellent. Leather seats and interior all sound. The vehicle's previous owner was a garage mechanic who undertook a through overhaul of the vehicle. As a result it has almost new tyres, radiator, starter motor and coil. Wiring renewed. Brakes overhauled. Comes complete with original jack, wheel brace and starting handle. Workshop manual and drivers handbook included with other technical publications on the Morris 8.
A sound car in good working order and ready to drive away. A true vintage driving experience which brings a smile to all who see it. It cruises at about 40mph so able to keep up with most traffic on our congested roads. The opening windscreen provides a great ventilation on hot days together with the sliding roof. Its relatively small size compared to most modern cars enables it to be easily parked and manoeuvred. Petrol consumption is about 32 mpg using E5 fuel.
