This 4. 2 litre Daimler coupé was originally supplied by Henleys of Chester in October 1976, specified with the automatic gearbox and in a very attractive colour combination of Greensand over Cinnamon.
The car spent more than 30 years on the Isle of Man registered ’57 JMN’, owned by a Father and Son, before being repatriated to mainland UK around 2010, though only returned to its original registration in 2021. The exceedingly low mileage is believed to potentially be accurate but due to its island life it is very hard to confirm or deny. The overall condition of the car is quite exceptional, the interior looks as though it has hardly seen any usage and the exterior is gleaming, following a full respray a few years ago. The gearbox was replaced by the previous owner in 2021.
