CTR Beach Buggy (Similar to Mk 1 Manta Ray) made by CTR Enterprises, Carshalton Beeches, Surrey.
1954 Link Pin floor pan, correctly registered as a Convertible in September 1970.
Only 2 former keepers, owned for over 30 years.
Current MOT valid to July 2026, no advisories. Tax exempt historic vehicle.
The car rebuild was finished 14 years ago and it has 13 years MOT certificates showing it has only done 12, 900 miles since then.
Painted Plymouth Prowler metallic purple 15 years ago.
1776cc engine fully balanced, reground crank, lightened 8 dowelled flywheel, W100 cam, bolt up rocker shafts, new heads, electronic SVDA distributor, Wrights USA GT spec gearbox, Kennedy stage 1 clutch plate, dual 36mm Dellorto DRLA carbs, custom stainless steel exhaust.

8. 5 X 15 rears with 255/ 60 X 15 tyre, 7 X 14 fronts with 195/ 60 X 14 tyres.
N2 Engineering steering box.
Floor pan reinforced laterally and along edges, box section reinforcement inside side pods.
Unique hard top, grey mohair bikini roof with storage bag (Bromsgrove Auto Trimmers) Front seats and rear bench seat also trimmed by Bromsgrove Auto Trimmers.
3 Point harnesses for front seats, lap belts for rear.
The rear seat can be removed and replaced with a single centre mounted child's bucket seat, mounted to a metal sub frame linked to the shock towers, trimmed to match the front seats.
The paint is now showing some micro blisters (fibreglass body now 54 years old) and some paint chips that have been touched up. The body style is a rare original body only made for a short period in the early 1970's.
The Buggy has won 2 trophies at shows in the past and still turns heads and causes a smile whenever it's driven.
I've had lots of fun it it over the years, it's been to many shows and travelled to the South Coast on many occasions.
