Description
I bought this bike as a non-runner some years back, got it running and used it in it's rough state for a few years until the crank seals went.
I then consigned JMC CLassics to rebuild the bike professionally and what you see is the result. It's a UK bike, those who know these will know what they are looking at and how much it costs to have this done.
This bike has many original items fitted in the rebuild, in particular, the fuel tank. As you see it is a pristine new old stock item. The engine was fully rebuilt and has done less than 2000 miles since. The exhausts are Delkevic items bought new at the time as the originals worked but were not in great condition. I have never been able to find a good enough set to replace the ones on it. Sounds great. The bike runs great, I had it out a couple of weekends ago and covered 200 miles trouble free.
Tyres are in great condition and the bike, although it does not have a current MOT, it would pass easily. You will note the chrome doesn't look highly polished, it is fine, it just has a coating of WD40 on it for protection. The fork stanchions were hard chromed by Philpots. I have Cool 180 in the water system to prevent internal engine corrosion and also Dot 5 brake fluid in the braking system to avoid any hydroscopic nonsense as the bike has not been used that much.
Everything is working and the bike is good to go. Hopefully I've covered everything but happy to answer any questions.
