Description
Sadly the time has come to move my beloved 2002tii on to a new home. Unforseen circumstances force sale. It is a great car and we've had plenty of enjoyable memories with it. Some extensive under body work carried out in 2017, then an engine refresh in 2020 means it is a solid wee car. The mechanical fuell injection pump (which sets these apart from carburettor models) was rebuilt by Lucas Engineering in England at the same time. Drives and runs very well. Down side is most of the panels will need some rust attention in the coming few years. Drive it as is now, tidy up later, that was my plan. The interior is usable but could have a tidy. I've owned it since 2009. I have quite a few spares, including 4 original steel wheels. For full asking price I will MOT the car and include my spares. Originally delivered to a dentist in Belfast, it's ownership history before coming to me is spotty. A gentleman in NI carried out some body work in the late 90s, I bought it from a young man in Dublin in 2009. I believe there may be a record in the DVLA database of a minor ding in the 90s which made it uneconomical to repair, given these were cheap back then.
