Description

NOW SOLD - new stock wanted

This is a lovely example of a very late first-generation Audi TT 8N.

It’s a sweeter-driving and cheaper-to-tax two-wheel drive model with a lovely manual gearbox and comes from the final 12 months of production (the 2006 model year) and so is ULEZ compliant.

Both the black exterior and interior are in excellent condition for the age and help make the car look a lot newer than it is. This is surely one of the best-condition Mk1 TTs around and has covered just 81, 100 miles from new.

The full leather seats are heated and the car also benefits from cold aircon, climate control, electric windows, the alloy wheels originally designed for the TT, a spare wheel and rear isofix points.

As well as a desirable specification, all of the original books and manuals are supplied, plus a folders worth of history exceeding the manufacturer's recommendations and making for exceptional provenance.

The service history alone is very impressive and is as follows:
September 2007 at 9300 miles (Audi Bromley)
August 2010 at 15, 700 miles (Audi Bromley)
August 2012 at 23, 100 miles (Independent)
November 2013 at 30, 000 miles (Independent)
November 2015 at 37, 900 miles (Independent)
October 2016 at 41, 700 miles (Independent)
December 2017 at 46, 600 miles (Independent)
February 2019 at 50, 500 miles (Independent)
March 2020 at 53, 600 miles (Independent)
January 2021 at 55, 500 miles (specialist) - as well as new cam belt, tensioner, guide pulley and water pump
March 2022 at 60, 800 miles (specialist)
September 2023 at 70, 000 miles (Independent)
September 2025 at 81, 000 miles (Kia Bromley)

In addition, there are receipts for lots of other work from the date of registration. The MOT is valid until September 2026 which shows a couple of advisories, however these have been rectified at the expense of £306 (new rear discs and pads and an anti-roll bar droplink). In 2023 the front springs, discs and pads were changed at a cost of £688. The front suspension arms and ball joints were replaced in 2022. Shock absorbers and calipers were changed in 2021.

Running Michelins all round, with good tread left on all corners. ULEZ compliant.

The cars life has been spent with Mr B (2005-2011), Mrs B (2011-2020), Mr R (2020-2024), Mr A (2024) and Mr R (2025). It comes with one original key and the original radio.

Please message for inquiries or more pictures and information. Please note that some of the pixels in the centre display are dim, however it is still legible. The alloys aren’t perfect with worn centre caps, but nothing too noticeable. There are age-related marks around the car, which should be visible in the photos - they are very slight. Mk1 TTs are fast becoming modern classics, with very few excellent condition, low mileage and well-maintained ones left.
