Description
Fulvia 1. 6HF "Fanalone", left hand drive.
This car is in superb condition. The first Italian owner had it for 38 years. Then it was bought by a Dutch Lancia spares specialist, who replaced many parts e. g. wheel bearings/ suspension parts, then went to a US collector, and I bought it from the US and imported it to England. As far as I can see the car has never had any welding except for one sill.
Since I bought it, I had everything gone through;
Engine & gearbox rebuilt (it came with 1016 cams),
Carburettors rebuilt
New clutch
New water pump, hoses, cables
New (better) exhaust and manifold from Vere Lancia
New De Carbon shock absorbers,
New rubber mats
Re-cored radiator, new black silicone hoses, re-worked oil separator, new seat belts, new door/ rear quarter light seals, some light lenses, badge, windscreen and rubber, and so on. About 180 hours were spent and I have detailed receipts for the time and the parts. Anything that needed doing, or could be done to improve the car, was done. I had at least one Fulvia since I was 19 years old (with a break of about 15 years) so I know the cars very well. This car is incredibly original and I doubt there is a significantly better one in the UK. I do not believe this car has ever been used in competition, which has been the case for many Fanalone, and I do not think it has ever been crashed.
There is a readers car thread on Pistonheads for some more detail.
I'm only selling because eight Italian cars is one too many.
Thanks for reading this far!
P. S. I have put some photos up of the relevant engine numbers etc but please note these are before the engine rebuild (so the engine is dirty). It is nice and clean now.
