Bought from a Figaro dealer in 2015, this car is finished in Topaz Mist, the most desirable Figaro colour. Manufactured in Japan in 1991 these cars are now showing their age and rust is an issue. However, this vehicle has had extensive restoration to cure the usual rust sites; drivers side sill, inner and outer, both rear wheel arches, door bottoms, boot, bonnet and floor pan, these have all been repaired or replaced. Following this work the vehicle has also been resprayed and has been undersealed. New vinyl was fitted to the roof and rear window in 2021. Chrome work is in good condition or has been replaced.
Mileage is 81575 Km (50675 miles) The engine had just been serviced by a Figaro specialist and the timing belt and water pump were changed in 2022. Recent MOT till 10/ 26. New exhaust 6 months ago and two new front tyres were fitted in 2023.
The interior is probably the only area that shows this cars age notably some wear to central handbrake and gear selector surround however, both front seats have been re-sprung and the dash top has been recovered. This car has the original Figaro radio with the addition of a band expander to receive some UK radio stations and has a lead to allow music to be played from a mobile phone. The car is garaged and comes with a fully tailored padded cover. We have service and maintenance receipts from its import date of 2006.
This has been my wife’s much-loved daily driver for the last 10 years but retirement means she don't use the car hence its sale. This is a Figaro that has had a lot of money spent on it recently. It's now very well presented, it's reliable and drives smoothly. It's a very stylish car that has always attracted admiring looks and lots of attention. Cruising country lanes with the roof open remains one of the great joys of owning one of these unique cars. We shall be sorry to see it sold.
