I’m the 2nd owner and purchased my Scirocco 21 January 2014
Currently 87, 400. I have done less that 10k in 11 years+ of ownership.
Recent service 29. 08. 25, replacing top cover gasket, radiator, coolant housing flange, front brake callipers & front discs & pads, totally £770. It has cost more to keep it original every time maintenance is required. But that has been my aim.
Since I’ve owned my Scirocco, it was serviced at Beeson Retro Sport, then for the following few years at SD Autotech, then more recently with VWS Mobile Mechanics, who are happy to give an overview of works carried out and an honest summary of the car.
Original stickers inside doors etc. & original number plates.
Currently has G60 wheels, but original wheels are also included.
Garaged all the time I have owned it. It’s a hobby that just is not getting used.
In fantastic original and honest condition. There is a small blemish on the outside of the driver’s door (see pic). I was advised to leave this, so the paintwork on the whole stays original, then if selling, it can be down to the new owner to decide whether to have this treated and sprayed and to what extent.
No power steering, hand operated windows, this is pure and basic driving at its best. Hit the country roads and feel that smile appear across your face.
This is an original, unrestored MK2 Scirocco in great condition, with low miles. If you are interested give me a shout.
