This is the X version of the XR1200 model this means it has a bit more power than a standard model, it also has the black engine and the fully adjustable Ohlins shocks front and rear as well as a FULL titanium exhaust system that sounds awesome, and can set car alarms off if not ridden right through parked cars! these are getting hard to find now as they were only made for 3 years and they are not usually what Harley riders go for, these models were aimed at bandit riders but with a lot more class and heritage ( I have had a 1200 bandit and it was quicker but without the style of this) I have owned this for 8 years now and I am the 2nd owner, it was onabout 5k when I bought it (I have 7 other biked now I had 15 when I bought this so it sisnt get used a lot or even every year) I am 63 now and it is time to get smaller bikes as I have other bikes but fancy an old Greeves green laner or even a new Himalayan so I am selling this to fund one of those, this has a screen and a rear rack which I removed as I didnt use it and I think it looks better without it, last month it had a new M. o. T. and a new rear tyre but ive only done about 100 miles since as I regularly use a Honda 1000 varadero as my everyday
I may be interested in a deal on another bike or scooter cash either way but could do with the room in my garage as I have to put a new fuel pump in my Buell and need to get to my ramp which I cant do at the moment, maybe interested in a EELL for those that know what one is of course, this has been regularly serviced by me along with all my other bikes and has a service record upto when I bought it, I have serviced it twice since owning!!
